Design of the Day

Wiccan

My boyfriend started this thing where he does a design everyday and so I decided to do one too. The word Wiccan means witch or a pagan religion. This design is witch like but still cute and childish. My demographic for this would be a child between say 10-15.

Grow

Another word of the day and this time it’s the word grow. I incorporated elements found in nature that closely resemble the letters. The letter G was the most difficult and “O” being the easiest.

The Great Gatsby

Just a series of pictures my boyfriend did and I painted. I love how I did the bright RED nails.

So lovey, my SO is such a great artist. Before I painted this I could already see all the colours. SO said he knew I would paint the dress pink. I say :p

Me Simpsonized

Rough sketch of my design.  It’s me if I was a Simpson character. The background is also designed to show all the things all I love to do.

Nipplepuss

I did this painting in my spare time. I don’t know how I came up with the concept but it looks really cool. I wish I had drawn the earrings and necklace dangling to the side and the sun much larger. It was painted in gouache paint. Approximate size is 9×12 inches.

Best room designs

HGTV has just listed their best 15 rooms. Out of all the rooms I liked “My dream bedroom” from my previous post and this one. I realize that I like soft colours in room. Anything too bright is a turn off. Check it and tell me what you think.

Caricatures

I did this painting using gouache paint of my SO’s step-dad Steve. It looks just like him. He’s gonna love it for his birthday. I plan on framing it in a really thick frame. The picture size is only 3 x 5 inches.

Piggy Pop up book

Just bought this book at the Convetion Centre. The drawings are so well done and cute. Love the pop ups, they all are somehow intertwined with a quirky saying done in the theme of a pop up. Wish I had thought of the idea first.

My dream bedroom

I would love to have my bedroom decorated just like this. I’ve been obsessing lately over the show Sarah’s Place on HGTV and I love how she decorates. From the colour choices, layout, lighting, and accessories she does it all so perfectly. This bedroom is from Season 2. If only I had the money to do it and if my niece would keep my room clean.

It’s only missing a spot for my  computer, T.V., toys and books.
